From News Center (Text and Photo by Yang Yanhua, LZPU Communist Youth League Committee) Recently, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regional Committee of the Communist Youth League of China, the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of the Autonomous Region, and the Department of Industry and Information Technology of the Autonomous Region announced the winners of the 2025 Guangxi Youth Vocational Skills Competition. LZPU earned 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, 1 third prize, and 2 honorable mentions.

In the Innovation and Efficiency Competition, the project "Smart Eye Technology—AI-Driven Upgrade of River Snail Rice Noodles Packaging Machinery and Equipment" by Liu Weixin and teammates won the first prize; "Intelligent Predictive Maintenance System for Machine Tools Based on Industrial Large Models" by Tian Junyuan's team won the second prize; and "AI-based Intelligent Operation and Maintenance System for Electrode Roll Production Line" by Tan Fafa's team took third prize. In the Vocational Skills Competition, student Luo Yongjie earned second prize in the machine tool installation and maintenance program; students Qin Jianhua and Sun Yuxin respectively received second prize and honorable mention in the artificial intelligence trainer program; and Cen Xuliang won honorable mention in the industrial vision system operation and maintenance worker program.

These impressive achievements in this competition not only showcase the students' diligence and potential, but also reflect LZPU's longstanding commitment—by the Party Committee and administration—to developing top-tier technical and skilled talent and fostering a spirit of innovation and scientific inquiry among its students.
